Why Work For Proteus

Proteus’s employees are our most valued assets. Proteus provides a comprehensive benefits program designed to help and support our employees during many different times in their life - such as illness, childbirth, and retirement. Our aim is that these programs will provide our employees with financial support and time away from work, enabling them to balance their work and family responsibilities with peace of mind.

Medical Program

Proteus is proud to offer a PPO medical plan that gives our employees the option to choose their own providers. Our plan offers a wide range of medical and preventive care services to meet the employees’ medical care needs. Dependent medical coverage is available at a reasonable, additional cost. Prescription coverage is also included, and a “mail-in” prescription plan is available for maintenance drugs to save even more money.

Dental/Vision Program

The dental and vision plans, included with the medical plan, allow our employees the option to choose their own providers: In- network, or Out-of Network, a cost reimbursement program. In some cases, charges are covered 100%. Dependent coverage is available.

Retirement Plan

Helping our employees plan for their financial future has always been a priority for Proteus. To assist our employees with this, we offer professional financial consulting by industry experts for our employees, as well as a Proteus-sponsored retirement program. Proteus contributes, on behalf of our employees, a percentage of salary to the employee's Proteus-sponsored retirement plan. Employees are also encouraged to contribute on their own behalf.

Life Insurance

This Proteus-paid life insurance plan provides financial protection for our employees' beneficiary(ies).

Voluntary Insurance Plans (Optional)

To supplement the various personal needs of employees, different insurance plans are available to purchase, such as disability, cancer, critical illness, accident, and GAP insurance. Our insurance broker will answer their questions and help them find the plans(s) and peace of mind for their own situations.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Employees can use pretax dollars to pay medical or dependent care expenses.

Employee Assistance Program

Proteus provides an employee assistance program to help our employees and their families address those issues and problems that come up from time to time ---the complications of our busy lives. This comprehensive resource is available 24 hours a day – and is confidential!
